The Opportunity
We are expanding our roster for upcoming events and hospitality contracts. We are currently seeking Cooks to join our team on a casual/on-call basis, earning $22-$30 /hour.
What You Will Do
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with event or facility menus and dietary requirements.
Ensure all dishes are cooked, seasoned, and presented according to quality and consistency standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to maintain efficient meal service during events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Monitor and manage food inventory and report shortages or equipment issues.
Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations at all times.
Assist with menu planning, portion control, and minimizing food waste.
What We Are Looking For
Minimum of 2 years of experience in food service environments that operate under Ontario Public Health standards
Valid Food Handler Certification from an Ontario-approved provider
English proficiency required; French communication skills are considered an asset
Availability for flexible, on-call shifts, including evenings and weekends
Ability to reliably commute within the assigned region
Professional presentation, strong communication skills, and consistent reliability.
Ability to obtain and wear the approved uniform; non-slip shoes required.
